Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow Experiences the KUUBE ECO Smart Bench at HungaroFest.
Last week, our smart furniture was also present in Toronto, at the seventh HungaroFest, which is considered the largest Hungarian-related cultural event in Canada. The nearly 360,000 Hungarian community and local visitors were able to try out our furniture first-hand.
Moreover, through our Canadian distributor, Life Living Corporation, we are already present there as well, so this was not the last opportunity for locals to meet our products.
The event was a great demonstration that Hungarian design solutions and technological knowledge can stand their ground on an international level. We would like to thank the organizers for the opportunity and everyone who visited the event!
Sustainability doesn’t end with manufacturing for us.
Our smart furniture is sustainable not only because it is powered by solar energy and made from recyclable materials, but also because we continue to take care of both our products and our customers in the long term.
We recently carried out maintenance and upgrade work on the Kuube SMART HUB solar-powered smart street furniture located in front of the Hungarian Embassy in Bangkok, and the installation is once again fully operational and ready to welcome visitors.
We believe that a truly sustainable product is not only innovative, but also durable. That is why we continue to support our partners even after purchase: through our support and maintenance services, we help ensure that Kuube furniture operates reliably for many years in service of communities.

KUUBE at the Living Luxe Design Show in Toronto
Representing a fusion of cutting-edge technology and contemporary urban aesthetics, KUUBE’s modern outdoor solutions were presented through a strategic collaboration between Life Living Inc. (the official Canadian distributor) and the HEPA Regional Office Canada.
The exhibition provided an exclusive platform for architects, designers, and smart city planners to experience the future of public infrastructure. Kuube is more than just furniture; it is an integrated technological hub designed for the modern citizen.
Innovative Features:
🔹 Renewable Energy: Integrated solar power systems.
🔹 Connectivity: High-speed Wi-Fi and multiple charging options.
🔹 Smart Functions: Advanced LED lighting and digital displays.
🔹 Sustainable Design: Built to enhance modern urban environments.
This introduction marks a significant milestone in the expansion of Hungarian smart city solutions within the Canadian market. It underscores the growing demand for sustainable, tech-integrated urban design and highlights the role of HEPA in bridging the gap between Hungarian innovation and North American industry leaders. We are excited to continue supporting the journey of Hungarian excellence as it shapes the landscapes of tomorrow.
Tradition and innovation in one place?
At the Hungarian Open Air Museum (Skanzen), we have installed 15 KUUBE smart benches that bring a fresh, modern touch to the traditional surroundings with their design and functionality. So if you’re visiting Szentendre these days, you can experience firsthand what it’s like when the values of the past and the technology of the future are not opposites, but strengthen each other.
Hola Chile, Kuube has arrived in South America!

Smart City roadshow in Latin America
Kuube has participated at the Smart City roadshow in Latin America and it has been a big success!
The NEXT KPI “Smart City roadshow in Latin America” program, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, has been successfully implemented in Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile and Curitiba.
Kuube could sign it’s first South American distribution contract with Fahneu, who will represent us and find the potential partners and clients in Chile.
We’re preparing the deployment of our first sample products at a very frequent area and plan to make it a use case for digital inclusivity and community building.
The program allowed us to further expend our network, identify key partners and open up further product placement other Latin-American countries.
We’d like to thank Levente Weil – Argentina, Benedek Morava – Chile, and Dániel Rákóczi – São Paulo / Brazil for their amazing work, dedication and support.
We strongly believe that Kuube’s smart urban furniture are suitable in all the places over the world and we came closer to the first Kuube products to reach yet another continent.
Innovation meets talent
We helped complete the Foxconn Future Innovator Awards ceremony with Kuube smart benches. It’s great to see young Hungarian talents—whether in high school or higher education—receiving such strong professional attention, mentoring, and opportunities, and we were happy to contribute with our innovative smart furniture.

International Recognition for KUUBE at Smart City Expo Barcelona
Intense 3 days at the Smart City Expo World Congress Barcelona last week!
Special thanks again for the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce (Magyar Kereskedelmi és Iparkamara) and the Budapest Chamber of Commerce (Budapesti Kereskedelmi és Iparkamara) for the opportunity and support and a quality stand where together with other Innovative Hungarian companies we proudly represented the latest Smart City innovations together with our esteemed partner hashtagResysten.
The 3 day were full with potential clients, distributor’s and system integrators. We thank all the meaningful conversations, exchanged contacts and words of appreciation.
It’s safe to say Kuube represents the absolute premium quality among the smart urban furniture market with timeless design, off-grid operation and plug-n-play installation availability. We’re extremely happy that Kuube products were noticed by Kuala Lumpur’s mayor where we’re preparing to deploy the first Kuube smart benches; by a hashtagMicrosoft leader from the US where we’ll ship the first Kuube smart benches within 2 months and show them at hashtagCES; by high level representatives of Dell Technologies from Singapore where we’ll discover how can co-create the smart hub of the future.
There’s no doubt that Smart City Expo World Congress is the biggest event for Kuube and other smart city innovators and we’re proud that we represent the highest shelf within our market!

After China, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines, and India, we are now present in Japan as well. In Tokyo, one of the world’s high-tech centers, passers-by can now use a Kuube NOTE smart furniture, which not only charges phones and provides free Wi-Fi, but also brings the experience of listening to music to public spaces through its built-in touchscreen and speakers.
